An Occidental Fire

A Shoreline sunset, as seen from Saltdean beach yesterday evening. The scarab-headed Khepera rolls the solar disc over the horizon once again, and a whorl of fire ignites the western sky.

Not the best photo- it was taken with a cameraphone, which has reduced the brilliant crescent moon to a Christmas bauble, but not a bad document of the moment, even so.
